More about the speakers:

Barry Dennis

Barry Dennis

Barry began his working life as a young reporter on his local newspaper in Wisbech. It was the start of a very successful career in the world of newspapers, magazines, radio and the internet. More than half his career was as Managing Director with Emap plc and Archant Norfolk.

Prince Charles described Barry in 2006 as “an inspiring business leader with drive” when he appointed him as his Ambassador for Business In The Community’s Eastern Region.

He currently runs his own business/media consultancy and mentors a number of local businesses, including several start-ups. He is also Chairman of Pike Textile Display Ltd of Wisbech and the Immediate Past President of the Norfolk Chamber of Commerce..

Shaun Lowthorpe

Shaun Lowthorpe

Shaun Lowthorpe is business editor of the Eastern Daily Press. Appointed in August, Shaun was previously public affairs correspondent, a post he held for seven years.

Shaun, 38, joined Archant as a trainee reporter for the Eastern Daily Press in 2000 and has worked in the Cromer, Lowestoft, and Norwich offices.

Steve Turton

Steve Turton

Steve has been running his own creative, design and marketing agency in Norfolk for 25 years. Until very recently that business has always had his name above the door. However on the 19th of September all of that changed as Steve ushered in a new era, as Turton Middleton became the Line.

This is more than just a name change though. It is a change of approach founded on the desire to challenge the old ways of agency thinking. The Line will work with clients to find opportunities and create ideas that will enable them to do more, make more and mean more.

Steve himself will be leading that change with his creativity, business acumen and strong client relationships.

The Line currently works with clients as diverse as Lidl, Atout France, Tulip, Dalehead Foods, Fendercare and Hamilton Acorn.
